Market data may be delayed; the last available quote is shown when markets are closed.

How is the value of gold calculated?
Metal value depends on actual purity, net metal weight and the current market quote. Hallmarks such as 585 or 750 provide an initial indication of the alloy. Stones and other components do not count as gold weight. The calculator provides an estimate; an in-person examination determines the final assessment.
Could my jewellery be worth more than its gold content?
Workmanship, stones, brand, condition and resale potential can also matter when valuing jewellery. We therefore consider your piece individually. The online calculator does not account for these additional factors and does not replace a personal offer.
What should I bring when I visit?
Bring the jewellery or watch you would like to discuss. Existing certificates, receipts and original packaging can be helpful. Call ahead to ask which documents are needed for your enquiry.
Can I send photographs first?
You can attach photographs to your email to office@noa-diamonds.at. Include the material, brand and any documents you have, where known. A photograph alone does not replace an in-person examination.
Can I also buy jewellery at NOA?
Yes. Visit our store at Neuer Markt to discover the current selection. For enquiries about a particular piece, please contact us directly.
What do hallmarks such as 585 or 750 mean?
The hallmark gives the gold content in parts per thousand: 333 is 8 carat, 375 is 9 carat, 585 is 14 carat, 750 is 18 carat, 916 is 22 carat and 999 is fine gold at 24 carat. A hallmark is an initial indication; we check the actual purity in store.
Do you also buy gold bars and gold coins?
Bring gold bars to the store for an in-person assessment. We assess gold coins and watches on request; please call ahead.
